Navigating the New Normal

Navigating the New Normal

Life and work are anything but normal right now. We’re all finding our way in a world of remote working, juggling work and parenting, looking out for family, friends and neighbours and keeping relationships going at a distance. So take a bit of time out for yourself and join your ShfWIT friends as we share stories and ideas of how to deal with it all.

We’ll have short talks from three speakers and plenty of time to ask questions and chat if you want.

Speakers:

Emma Maraio is a business psychologist and Head of Talent at IT services company Littlefish. She has over 15 years of talent and development experience in the public, charity and corporate sectors. She’ll be sharing insights on the psychology of work and teams and how we navigate them when we are working apart.

Sara Sanderson is the co-founder of When Women Speak Global Network, which is a social enterprise and platform for women’s voices. When Women Speak is on a mission to support one woman at a time to uncover her voice and show up exactly as she is. Sara will take a look at how we navigate the collision between our work and home lives and find our way to express what we need.

Emma Cooper has been part of Sheffield’s digital scene for many years and currently works with immersive games company Cooperative Innovations. Emma’s focus is on how much fun humans can have when they interact with technology and she’s promised to bring some fun for us to share.
